Default Lazer and real success on your bike

    Okay, simple question

How often has your lazer jammer actually worked on your bike like text book and what kind is it?

I have a Blinder/Cheetah 2 head (M27) on my RT1200. I can't speak to the issue of how well it works because I have not (knowingly) been painted with laser.

I have passed a few LEO at speeds exceeding the psl however I have not been pulled over, nor did the laser alert.

I can tell you that, just recently, I was painted in my vehicle (m47 blinder) and by all accounts, should have pulled over and was not. The product alerted and I was able to reduce speed in quick order.

I've got some install pics so if you're interested, just pm me with an email address and I'll send them to you. My front head is just under the air vent you see in my signature. The rear head is on top of the tail light.

How does the motocycle lazer M27 work as far as alert?

My ear jack is in use on my RD, just wondering if M27 has a seperate alarm system notification.

I dont trust the RD at all for Notification alarm

I use a jammer that's around 10 or 12 years old. It was sold here as a Masterblaster. This unit has saved me more times than I can count.
When I first got it the local cops weren't aware of jammers and the look on their faces as they zapped me over and over without getting a reading was priceless.
I doubt it's very effective in a car against the latest laser guns , but on my bike it seems to do just fine.

If you by the Cheetah version of the M27 you have visual alerts!!

I have the viz alert hooked up to my helmet. so I can SEE, in corner of my helmet, when I am being targeted. I too, use the earpieces in my helmet for the RD.

Now I have an actuall story to tell.

I was heading S on the interstate in TN just last week. I had run up from FL to Telllico Plains, across the BRP into NC, up to KY and then back down to FL.

Heading home, I was doing in excess of PSL by a significant amount. I had some concerns about the effectiveness of my placement because StealthStalker had suggested that the mounting location obscured the head a little bit.

Anyway, I'm haulin' when all of a sudden the viz alert flashes red and the V1 blares laser. I'm on front and rear hard and a good 800 feet before I see him, I'm down to 65.

I kill the LJ and as I drive by, he's looking at me. I figure he's calling it in and going to come after me.

Nothing. He just sat there. That, my friend is an absolute save.

    Nice save there

From what I've seen with laser: Not every motorcycle is easy to get a speed reading on.. so if you don't jam it too long they will not notice it
