Stun gun? Actually this law pisses me off. First off how many bikes have a speedometer anymore? Second OMG don't exercise at a high rate of speed. Third Don't the cops have something better to do? Forth are walkers that stupid to stand in the way? This is total crap!

$50.00 fine for speeding ? BS.

Cops have other things to worry about than 2 incidents of 20mph bikes!

    Screw INDY law!

I wonder how the hell they can ticket you though. They better start ticketing bikes with out speedometers too. Otherwise how will someone know how fast they are going?

Heck the campus police at my 'college' dont evenpull over the motorcyclists that go through there coasting at like 10over the speed limit... and they dont have their hands on the bars, they just coast and let the bikes steering geometery and gyroscopic-pro forces keep them going (straight). I think they may tighten their hold though in the (upcoming) fall semester.

    You think that is bad?

People on UF's campus routinely get wreckless driving tickets for riding their bikes without hands. Speeding tickets, stop signs=points, etc. Its ****ing insane. If you are dumb enough to get hit AND hurt by a bicycle then you deserve it. How the hell am I supposed to know how fast I am going if there are no cars around me? And am I to assume that they are following the speed limit as well?
