Australia: Speed Camera Records Car at 690 MPH

Hand-held speed cameras in Australia are recording motorists traveling impossible speeds. One accused driver, David Gillan, decided that he would fight back against a ticket he received on a freeway south of Adelaide because he believed that he was not speeding. To prepare his court case, Gillan requested the speed camera operator's notes and calibration documents. When he received them, he noticed the camera had claimed one automobile reached 690 MPH and another 248 MPH.

This article is full of faults, it was on a segment here on TV the other night, the so called expert didn't even know how to use a Radar Gun,pointing it over top of cars and not at them & also at incorrect angles to anything else he pointed the gun at, he even called the Radar gun a speed camera! go figure, the way he was describing the radar and showing people was so utter BS, I was on the ground laughing my head off, Infact I'm looking at challenging this so called radar expert to prove how wrong he is! I support the use of radar/laser & speed cameras if used correctly and to get the idoits that exist on the road. But this segment on TV was justt so BS.
When Roy Z is on a segment, you can actually take notice and know the story is very accurate, but this show was just so misleading!
