Texans DFW city gets the new Kustom laser

Yeah thats right. Anyone who knows where Rowlett Texas is will now know they just got new laser guns. Its the new Pro Lite. I was shocked they got it cause everyone around here uses ultralytes.

Also this city is going to equip there brand new motorcycles with eyewitness cameras. Also there bikes are equipped with stalker dual. They are so not playin.

Yeah Richardson bike guys are pretty cool. They use stalkers and ultralytes for laser. Plano is stalker II the new little ones. Also ultralytes.

Did they just upgrade their laser guns or what? I had already had Rowlett added on my google earth map as having laser and I just went to add Rowlett to the map of laser cities and it was listed.

Well they use laser. The ultralyte. But they didn't have traffic officers on bikes. So, now that they have a motorcycle unit they got the new pro-lite and 2 new road kings.

I have never seen the PRO Lyte used anywhere around here yet. I'M still waiting to see it used. The St. Louis County Police are the ones modeling the model on their web site.

Well that is why I posted it. I have not seen any cities here using yet either until now.

I will try to find out if they like it or not.

I haven't picked up any laser signals yet in Rowlett. Are they only used by the motorcycle units?

They have definetly stepped up enforcement in Rowlett over the past month.

For now all I know is the bike guys have them. My father gets shot by them a lot. I have been on the phone when he has. I have not seen them yet but starting tomorrow my route will take me from 30, to Dalrock, to 66 and then to Garland. I should run into them at some point.

Also they have the stalker dual. You will get 2 ka's when close to a car that has one. I have seen the unit and gotten dual ka's.

Well just passed a motorcycle cop last night about 7pm shooting radar/laser, not sure, on Rowlett rd southbound from Castle Rd.

I was the lead in a group of cars and I didn't pickup any alerts either Ka or Laser with my Bel 965. I saw the cop aim his "binocular" looking device at me and nothing went off. He then moved on to the cars behind me.

I'm concerned that it was Laser and my Bel 965 didn't do squat. The night before coming home around 9pm across the Hwy66 bridge into Rockwall a rockwall PD was shooting laser and my Bel went crazy when he tagged me.

Does Rowlett have some special gun?
