Green Bay police turn up heat on speeders

The warming weather and a $25,000 grant from state transportation officials is putting more Green Bay police on the lookout for speeders.



They issued 56 citations on Monday and Tuesday while focusing on the Don A. Tilleman Bridge, which carries Mason Street over the Fox River. Police said most of the citations were issued to people driving 25 mph over the speed limit.
