The allegations about Matt Mitchell are included in an amended suit filed recently in a circuit court here on behalf of Kelly and Christine Marler, who were hurt in the crash in November 2007. Mitchell's auto crossed the median and slammed head-on into a car containing Jessica Uhl, 18, and her sister, Kelli Uhl, 13.

Mitchell has pleaded not guilty to two counts each of reckless homicide and aggravated reckless driving. The assistant attorney general assigned to represent him couldn't be reached for comment.

I normally would not post something like this , however I have preached for ever that police are not any higher than citizens except for the powers granted to them.

In this case speeding, he should know its a no no. Give him the maximum for it!
Talking on the cell phone... This brings me to the fact that if it gets banned, police should also be banned from it. Along with their MDT's should not be able to be used unless still.
