KSDK -- The Chesterfield Police Department is going to start using Twitter to better share and collect information from citizens.
Starting tomorrow, the agency will provide updates via twitter relative to road closures, ongoing incidents which directly affect the community and other matters where the public and media would need to be notified immediately.
The department said this will not replace any other methods of communication being used by the police department.
