Most people speed only because the limits are excessively low relative to actual safe/prudent/comfortable speeds on many roads.

It's almost like making blinking while walking illegal, then asking people how many of them blink while walking...

Its the perfect crime also. If you get caught speeding, you're doing something unsafe.

If you have a problem with speed limits, you are against safety .

All with the benefit of statistics to back it up..
