RAMONA, Okla. (AP) — A Ramona man's attempt to slow speeders on a country road near his home has him facing felony charges in Washington County.
Thirty-eight-year-old Travis Frederick Price is charged with one felony count of throwing an object at a moving vehicle. Authorities say he threw a 10-foot post through the windshield of a truck on Friday night, injuring two people.
Pryce told Washington County sheriff's deputies that he was tired of drivers speeding down a road near his home and that he was using the 10-foot post as a flag.
The driver of a pickup told authorities he swerved to avoid Pryce Friday night and that as he passed, something smashed his windshield. Two passengers in the truck were injured by the shattered glass.
