Fresno DUI Holiday Enforcement Starts

The push to keep impaired drivers off the road during the holidays is in full swing.

Fresno police kicked off their seasonal DUI enforcement program Wednesday night on the southeast side of the city with a checkpoint at Chestnut and Tulare.

Five people were busted for driving under the influence and 53 vehicles were impounded.

The holiday enforcement period runs through January 2nd.
