Pennsylvania State Police in the Lehigh Valley plan to step up traffic enforcement over the holidays, according to a news release.
Police say they will crack down on violations and step up patrols from Thursday through Dec. 27 and from Dec. 31 to Jan. 3 in an effort to reduce crashes and alcohol-related incidents during times of heavy holiday travel
Police urge people who drink to use a designated driver and remind people younger than 21 of Pennsylvania’s zero-tolerance law for alcohol, which says people can be cited if they have any alcohol in their systems.
