The deputy commissioner for road traffic Ken Lay congratulations Kenny.

Police Chief Commissioner Simon Overland backs top traffic cop Ken Lay after revelation of speeding offence | Herald Sun

UPDATE 3.30pm: POLICE Chief Commissioner Simon Overland says Ken Lay has his full support despite his speeding offence, and that police made "absolutely the right decision" in delaying the revelation.

Mr Lay says he has to rebuild his credibility with the public after the Herald Sun revealed this morning that he had been nabbed speeding through a country town last October.

Really? He was busted doing 43 mph in a 37 mph zone. Really? This requires a newspaper article?

He's always been bangin' on with the road safety mantra in all forms of the media and he's mug's plastered on roadside billboards everywhere warning that you're gunna get caught.

So I guess it's ironic and funny that he got done, I suppose that make it newsworthy.

    Nobel Peace Prize Winner!
-who is escalating the Afghan invasion-occupation-war by sending thousands more troops there to ensure the transnational corporate wet dream of the trans-Afgan petro pipeline gets built,
-who is sending drones into Pakistan to assasinate alleged 'terrorists' with no trial killing civilians in the process not to mention destabilizing Pakistan itself,
-who is now considering bombing yet another country, Yemen
-who is still supporting Iraq occupation to ensure big oil trans-national corportations get their $hare of the 2nd known largest crude oil reserves in the world in addition to protecting our 'ally' in the region.

How many people have died since the Nobel Peace Prize winner came into office?

In the State of Victoria, Australia, the tolerance for Photo Speed Cameras is as low as 3kph.

    That's less than 2 mph.

So the fact that the Police Commissioner was doing 6mph over the limit, is news.

It's just that most citizens of Oz are sick & tired of our draconian road laws.
