if were about safety and they truly wanted to slow people down on that road they would do saturation patrols and make themselves very very visible to all drivers.

Sounds like area where the speedlimit is severely under posted. They should do a traffic study and set the speeds to the 80th percentile speed. Which sounds like it's 55-60 mph.

Here is my question, if traffic fines are what make the roads safer and points have no effect, then why are points still assessed by officer but not by RLC or Speed Cameras?
