I have not seen this posted anywhere else. But found this thanks to the Google Alerts - Illinois General Assembly - Bill Status for HB6083

Looks like something that was filed from the two month stretch where Cook county couldn't tax people with their lidar guns this winter. I do notice the IL flare of instead of getting them tested to a standard we'll just write into law that whatever the State Police says goes. With the IL political climate I'm sure it means it's only a matter of time before they approve just one model or make of gun so they get lower contract prices for their equipment.

Everytime they get rid of one they replace him with the next corrupt individual, elected or not. I'm amazed Stealovich is on TV and it's not on a Stateville Prison reality show. Apparently Daley is trying to force the abolishment of the 4th amendment onto gun shops, so that Chicago (or any other officer of any) PD can go into any gun store statewide force it to close and inspect all the records and items in the store at will with no notice, oh and that same bill is attempting to ban all private sales too. I still haven't seen the date Chicago's handgun ban goes before the US Supreme court.

They've just taken to writing their corruption into law so they don't get in trouble for it. They've already got the "home rule" that allows them to disregard laws of ruling jurisdictions. Right now it's LIDAR guns, I'm expecting it to be redlight and speed cameras next, just wait until IL is like the UK, with a speed camera posted every other mile on I-55 from the MLK bridge to Lake Shore Drive, Police cars and government officials exempt from ticket of course.
