Should Doctors En Route To Surgery Receive Speeding Tickets?

Any Leo who pulls me over trying to get to the hospital better hope its not their family in the ER. I couldn't care less about paying the ticket but 10 minutes writing the d@m ticket and a lecture will cost a person's life. A human brain can survive 10 minutes without oxygen before permanant damage and can live up to 30 minutes. It takes medics a good 15 minutes+ to pick up a heart attack patient and drop off at the ER. An angioplasty must be perform ASAP. If an angioplastic MD is not in the hospital, there always on call. For every minute the MD is with a cop, thats a minute where the patient isn't breathing. How long can you hold your breathe for?

this is the reason why hospitals have staff at all times and why they invented medi-flights, why wait for a doctor to drive up, scrub, and get dressed when in under 30 minutes they can have you at another hospital that is all prepped and waiting for you to get going.
