TX - Video shows DWI suspect in tanker truck make U-turn on Allen tollway

North Texas Tollway Authority officials released video today of a drunken driving suspect making a U-turn in a tanker truck on Sam Rayburn Tollway on Thursday afternoon.

An Allen police officer arrested the trucker, who had hit a pickup and was turning around to report the accident to the officer...

I'm just disappointed I wasn't listening to my scanner at the time. I was on the tollway maybe 2 hours before at the same place. I'm going to download the logs off of radio reference. I'm interested to hear what they say.

Can you post a link I've never heard of that and Radioreference is my second favorite forum.

I'm a premium member on the site, when you find a feed you want to view the logs you click to view additional information. Then you can select by day and download or stream the feed. I have it right now where the cop is saying he's on the tollway with the wrong way driver.

Ahh ok. Is the premium membership worth it? I may get it if it makes programming easier.

It's worth it to me, because I do a lot of distant scanning from home, often picking up stations and units that I cannot identify. Premium membership allows you full use of the database and search functions to quickly pin down what you're looking for. If you do a lot of programming, it's also worth it. For just the casual scanner, who isn't into searching out new frequencies and distant monitoring, and pretty much never has to change his programming, it's probably not worth it.
