Tim Fitch seems pretty respectable unlike Tony Umbertino, the man with the revolving hats.
I can't help but feel Mr. Fitch is either worried about his force being rendered obsolete, the state not seeing any revenue from these local cameras, or his fellow brothers in blue receiving speeding tickets without being shown any human "professional courtesy".
I guess the shining light in all of this is it clearly shows the cameras are nothing more than a revenue grab especially since the worst possible outcome would be fines totaling $800.00 if they all had one. Add to the fact that all of these municipalities located in Jerkwater, USA do nothing more than hand out baseless tickets to keep themselves employed and it's a huge cash cow all in the name of safety.
Fire them all.

If Charlack and other municipalities make enough money to support their police departments through speed camera fines, Umbertino said, Fitch's plan to consolidate them into a new county police precinct would be moot.since when is any town or government supposed to make money? isn't this why we pay taxes to support local law enforcement? Why is it that these towns cannot manage the money the do get from taxes and need to resort to blatant money grab schemes like this?
we need less lawyers and more economists in government. the majority of our elected officials are lawyers and it is obvious they haven't a clue how to balance a checkbook....or a city budget....
