PA state police are crippled when it comes to speed enforcement. Stationary K band or VASCAR, that's it. haha. The lazy cops are not going to want to use VASCAR, point and shoot stationary K band radar gun for them.

North Carolina is on Operation Slow Down also had an article in the paper with NCHP shooting Pro Laser111 and also said 9 over would not be tolerated so if you are traveling this way be on the lookout.

Depends on the culture of the particular troop, I guess. Most of them that I've seen are trigger happy and shoot every car. I get hit when I'm going 3 MPH under the limit. Still have to drive for the worst case scenario, though...

Every one of PSP uses stationary I/O or C/O K band guns. When they are hand held they usually clock every car. Sometimes they mount them on their window and in that case they are constantly on. Some are starting to get KA band guns, although I have not personally seen it yet. PA Law says they can't use moving radar.

I get a warning on my V1 almost every single time, the only exception being when traffic is so light that I am the only car on the road.
