My fiance tells me often that I can't assume other drivers are malicious or trying to piss me off just because they're acting in an unskilled or oblivious manner, like left lane hogs.

This article kind of proves her wrong. Some people really just don't give a flying **** about you or me.

A healthy person would understand that we don't live in an ideal world and that speed limits are often violated by a majority of vehicles on a road. The safest course of action would be to stay out of the way, but clowns like this article's author choose to put their obedience to the law ahead of safety. From what I hear on this forum, it's big problem in Florida.

I think a lot of left lane hogs just don't understand or care about the problems they cause. Grandma gets frightened to see cars pass her at 80+ MPH, but those cars could all have several hundred feet between them. When she moves to the left lane, nobody passes her and she feels much safer! Of course everyone behind her starts jockeying for position, making dangerous lane changes and bunching up so nobody can cut in front of them and ruin their chance to pass. Then if there's any unusual circumstance, we hear about the 27 car pileup on the evening news.

That's why I would shed no tears if a vigilante group chose to target these people with violence and retribution. I'm not condoning that, I'm just saying it wouldn't be a bad thing.

Keep in mind, the Orlandosentinal is in Orlando, home of Disney World.
Goofy, Mickey the mouse and Donald the quack duck undoubtedly influenced that BS article.

Lol this was a waste of bandwith. They stated something that was already a bill (left lane violation), and picked the one topic no one except the soccer moms who dont like changing lanes with a turn signal would vote for.
