You know if they offered these classes for people who get the simple traffic tickets, instead of fines and court, they would not have as many complaints and maybe you would have better drivers out there.

but they would never do that because all the care about is the money. with this new program you still have to pay the fine and then additional costs for the class.
this is there way around all the unhappy people complaining about the increased enforcement for revenue enhancement. MI is broke and they are taxing the motorists. by offering the class they get their tax money without pi$$ing off the citizens with increased insurance costs and license suspensions.
Chicago does a similar thing. If you take the class, it doesn't show up on your record. Is that the same with MI?
Don't know. Never given the option. Only ticket here was 86 in a 70. No option to do a class.
Just saw this piece of news. Interesting. Can anyone verify this information??
The Secretary of State will notify eligible drivers. This sounds awfully suspicious.Originally Posted by http://www.michigan.gov/sos/0,1607,7-127-1627_57170---,00.html
You may be eligible Again, not very 'strong' and concrete language as to who is eligible or not.Originally Posted by http://www.michigan.gov/sos/0,1607,7-127-48296-245620--F,00.html
