Illinois is so screwed up. You have to wear a seatbelt no matter where you are in the car, yet you don't have to wear a helmet when riding a motorcycle. Then you can run a red light if you can't get that light to trigger.

    Idiots!

I just have to ask... Have you ever been stuck at a light on a motorcycle?

If the sensors are not set correctly, the light often won't change at all until a car comes along. Late at night this might be quite a wait if there's no traffic out. I've experienced this many times, and I would absolutely run the light after it became apparent that it wasn't going to change. I fully support this change in law.

They're certainly getting way out of hand with all the damned nanny seatbelt laws, though.
