OSP has been active lately too.

I went east on 76 just about the whole state and saw maybe one PSP. Returning west on 80 there were 5 troopers, one was hiding in the bushes with his arm out the window over th hood holding a radar gun with white face(K-band), constant-on. C/O could have tricked someone as there are so many radar signs. But I new something was up as I came up over hill in a turn. Not where a safety radar signs are usually used.

Most of the enforcement will be on the municipal level, as a lot of community police departments were awarded grant money to permit overtime traffic enforcement.

PSP will be hitting some of the highways hard, but you will be more likely to see a municipal officer doing traffic enforcement than PSP. There are just so many highways in Pennsylvania and not enough troopers to go around.
