Long story short:
PA is still using aircraft for speed enforcement a few times a week statewide, but they're cutting back due to a lack of pilots and budget constraints.
NY hasn't used airplanes for speed enforcement since 2005.
VA has only used airplanes half a dozen times in the past three years for speed enforcement.
WA still uses airplanes for speed enforcement, but have cut back due to budget issues.
CA occasionally uses airplanes for speed enforcement, but primarily for searches and vehicle pursuits anymore.
OH is still using a lot of aircraft for speed enforcement, and are using up to 10 airplanes at one time, statewide.
FL hasn't suffered budget issues limiting their use of aircraft, and they still have a large active group of airplanes and pilots for speed enforcement.
