    Default NavAlert new Feature

good news - firmware UPDATE TO CORRCT ALTITUDE READOUT ISSUE OVER 999 METERS delayed!

    why is that good news

    ?

were adding mph /kmph select to the unit.

I believe it will work like this:

    when stationary
    you hit menu button
1 time displays location in DMS format Useful for emergency and need to give your exact location etc

    2 times date
3 odometer - distance since power on
    4 trip time
    5 max speed
7 times satellite numbers (how many satellites your locked on to)

8 displays US (for miles readout) if you don't press button again unit will set this unit of measure after a few seconds
    or

9 displays M for metric readout if you don't press button again unit will set this unit of measure after a few seconds

This will be tested over the weekend and new feature will be included in all NavAlerts when they do their next update via our website .

THE BEAUTY OF ONLINE UPDATES YOU NEVER HAVE TO SEND YOUR UNIT IN FOR THE LATEST FEATURE.

Default Promised Corrections to Speed and Altitude

    Impressive, Thanks.

I'm crossing my fingers all goes as planned.

With these 2 improvements coupled with the just discussed/improved easy read manual, NavAlert will have a truly first rate unit.

    Thanks again.
