I don't know what the penalty is there for installing a cover to defeat photo cameras, but here in GA it is not worth it, I'll pay the toll.

My question - how fast is/are the motor(s)?

i.e. How far in-advance would you need to trigger this device, and how long will you be at-danger for enforcement action, after you've passed the toll area, as the motor(s) try to retract the shield over the plate?

I have the same questions. Really, I just don't see a lot of use for these type of devices. They're okay for toll-beating, or if you are intentionally trying to sneak around without having your LP taken down by wannabe narcs with cellphones. But for speed or red light cameras, they're only useful if you know you're fixin' to intentionally blow one. For those cams you don't know about, they are useless. There's just really a very limited application for these plate hiders, and those applications are very risky.

I've no idea the motor speed seems to be a material cover.

I don't think its worth running as I've enough bits on the car I don't want take!

I presume it would be similar to this.

"Regular" blinds have enough issues, let alone the fine piece of engineering in the last video. I don't think it's reliable enough unless they are "mil spec" blinds... LOL..
