Beating Pacing is there a way.

More and More I noticed that if not all the CHP are using Pacing instead of using their Radar here in SoCal 405 Freeway.

Just the other night I was driving in the #3 lane just above the PSL of 65 and once I glanced over to my driver side mirror there is a CHP behind me and once I noticed him I just let go off the gas and he passed me. Later down about 5 miles down the road I saw him again this time pulling over a Pickup truck.

V1 did not go off! He is using a crown victoria with no radar/ antenna just plain cop car with lights on the roof.

Is there a way to beat pacing at all, I doubt it, coz these CHP will just pop up anywhere/ anytime you are not expecting them too. One thing you know if you are speeding chances are that there is a CHP behind you pulling you over.

CB Radio? please enlighten me. Not all cars have CB and most of the trucks I see is mostly FedEx and Small trucks which I doubt have any CB on them.

Don't tell me the Police will actually broadcast there location. I wish. Make it easy for everybody.

We all forget from time to time but Defensive Driving 101 always look around you. LEO's are know to sneak up on you so if you are ready with a good RD and a great Jammer like the Blinder 27/47 you are almost covered. Don't forget GPS.

CB's can give you a 5 or 15 mile alert. Truckers on the CB can tell you what mile marker that they see an Officer. All I'm saying about the CB's it is another way of maybe catching an officer traveling on the highway with you.

Slam on your brakes and let him run in to the back of you. (There was a animal that ran out in front of you) I got paced in Dallas for 85 in a 65

Use your mirrors and check them frequently. When cops pace (if they are good it) they will use the terrain and especially lighting conditions to their advantage. When a traffic LEO spots their target to pace they will quickly accelerate toward you to get in position to match your speed for the pace. They will do this quickly, but if you spot them you can slow down before they get in position behind you to match your speed. It works for me.

Do not let your electronic gadgets give you a false sense of security. Remember to always scan ahead as far as possible with your eyes and take frequent quick looks behind you in the mirrors.

On all my road trips in the southeast 95%+ of all speed traps, whether stationary or moving cops, have been called out in advance by truckers on the CB. I make sure I return the favor and call out cops and DOT when I see them.
