Default Cheetah / Viz Alert on motorcycle

How do you check to see if the the Cheetah is sending the laser warning signal to the viz alert?

I thought I should see a red flashing light in the viz alert when I turn the Blinders ON. The blinders are connected via a Cheetah wireless kit which, in turn, is connected to the Viz Alert.

Maybe I'm wrong but now I'm worried that at least ONE component isn't working properly.

    Anyone know for sure?

    Hi,

Blinder don't have a self test mechanism that triggers a "warning", and they don't have a little test device yet to mimic a laser hit.

The simplest way to double check what a real warning looks like would be to use the BlinderUpdate tool and select the checkbox for "Startup sound" - ie switch on the startup sound. That will trigger a constant alarm on the Vizalert.

Don't forget to repeat the process to uncheck the "Startup sound" - ie switch off the startup sound.

What other settings should be changed with the blinder update tool?
    Constant jamming
start up sound off (after testing)
Same erase and 2.12 INT update process as the M27 and M47 heads?

I have one of those laser tester things that replicate a laser and its sets my radar jammer off and the m27 rider LED goes red but nothing happens in the vizalert...
