    Default NavAlert Updates Free?

I'm very interested in this new NavAlert but would like to know from someone who either owns one or knows the answer. Do you have to pay a monthly fee like a cell phone for updates from their website or is it free.....

thats pretty sweet, in the UK you have to pay for them i hear with a subscriber fee per year. If this country ever seriously goes to speed camera's i will be first in line.

This is more than likely a stupid question but I would like to find out. Here in Charlotte Red Light Photo Cams were a huge money maker for about 2 years. As far as I know the City had something worked out where a percentage of the ticket money would be given to the local schools. Well guess what, that never happen and the cams were turn off. I'm not sure but the money went some where and a law suit against the city began. However as far as I know, the City still uses 3 ( SafeSpeed ) white vans with photo ProLaser III in them for Photographing speeders. Since these vans are mobile would there be any GPS information to help me if I purchased a NavAlert? This is what they shoot out of.......

Well if the van is in the same spot from the time that you last updated it. Chances are the navAlert wont help on the moble vans.

mobile speed traps are harder to keep track of. now with a jammer, just jam it.

if they are in the same few spots, a quick push of the side button when you drive by will store it as a user position, so it will warn you next time when you approach.

when you update the Navalert, it gives you the option to keep or delete your user positions, so you'll get any new cameras, plus keep your custom ones.
