    Default Photo Radar Germany

I just got back from Germany. I encountered this set up. According to the LEO it is completely undetectable.

    No radar beam emitted.

They set up the triple tripods. As a vehicle breaks the 1st light beam the computer calculates the speed as the other 2 beams are broken.

    Any thoughts??? Is this true?

Enradd is two tripods. One emitting one beam, and the second emitting another IR beam. The vehicle hits the first one, and the timer is started. The timer gets stopped when the second beam is broken.

Basically its an IR operated Vascar. It uses the IR beams to trip the clock rather than the officer's finger.
