New "mini-me" speed cameras coming in AZ

DPS is testing mini mobile cameras in its efforts to steal more cash from AZ drivers. Don't know what it uses for speed sensing, but I would guess K-band radar like the mobile vans.

I bet it's really low power too. It would be deadly set up around a corner. By the time you get a reading on your RD it would be to late.

Another blatently obvious attempt at money gathering and not safety. At least when people see the vans they slow down.
When you dont see the little cam on the side of the road, you speed right past it.

sort of looks like the new cameras we got over here in New Zealand, i get about 20meters warning with my STi.

im guessing it uses the same radar system
