How to beat speed cameras

I love Orlando (I lived two years in Ft. Lauderdale as a kid) , but the driving situation is nerve recking though. Its my impression some people tended to regard driving as a birth given right instead of a privilidge you need to earn :?

Externally I used a button type camera that you hook up to a camcorder, that way you can situate it were ever you want.

The camcorder is a Sony DCR-PC9E Mini DV.

"Button type" camera? Whats that? I'm not familiar with it, but Dilip and I are hoping to make some videos like your's... your's look so professional and all that. The difference is we do most driving at night, so we need somethign that has GOOD night capture...like maybe a "night" mode or nightvision or IR or something.

Any suggestion on the above?

Hey Fort Lauderdale! Thats my home. It sure is getting crowded, they are expanding the turnpike down here from 2 lanes each to 6 lanes each. Driving down here you really take your life into your own hands. :?

Button camera is one of those small spy type cameras that are the size of a match box. You plug it into a regular camcorder and the image is captured by the button camera and recorded on the camcorder.
But the drawback is that the quality pictture is not as ggod so if you are looking to recording at night its best done with the camcorder's own lens.
You want a camcorder that can record a the lowest LUX posible. Most have infrared nightvision also but I don't recomend it as is in black and white and quality is poor.

U think Orlando is bad? You should see how bad it is here in Hong KOng! Especially in the city areas! And on the highways, people have no lane discipline! U get people hoggin the fast lanes all the time, its so irritating!

In the city, if u wanna change lanes, others, especially the "smarter" drivers and cab drivers, will purposely speed up and give u no room, and in traffic u are forced to go within a few inches of each other!

One interesting thing u get in HK at nights, are speeding minibuses. They have to go from the south to the north of HK as quickly as possible so they can fit more routes in one night to get more money. The way they speed and zig zag between lanes, and skid on some turns is really amazing. And it's full with 16 passengers! They go 120 km/h in 70 km/h zones.
