Sold my Uniden rd today!

Well, I finally sold my Uniden lrd 767 rd today to a Mexican guy at work for $10. I helped him install it in his minivan and explained a little in the features of the rd. I told him he might want to recalibrate the compass on it (since I calibrated it in my small car and he has it in his minivan). Even though I know it might pollute other people's rd's, it felt good getting rid of it to put the Bel 795 in it's place. Mk

Funny dave. I had to explain the start up mode x,k,ka,laser, ultra-lyte, safety, and VG-2. And then I had to explain city/highway and auto mute and how he has to calibrate the compass. All this on my lunch half-hour. I got a kick out of the guy saying he drives fast and doesn't want to get caught. Mk

When he does get caught and that RD does jack shyt to help him out I have a feeling the watercooler is going to be a hostile place for a while at your work.

Funny arimoore funny. Actually I saw him this morning and he said he encountered a couple of k/ka situations w/ a cop this morning. He said the Uniden was going off like mad. I told him to keep me posted. Mk

Yeah I know radar4ever that I could have gotten more but I also like to look out for consumers as well since I am one. All of these gadgets are fun to fool around w/ since at least most on here will agree. I just hope it doesn't pollute too many others rd's. 8) Mk
