Yes they arrest you and cuff your hands and legs and throw you in the back of a patty wagon!

Just kidding, its not a criminal offence, its only an offence against the Ontario Highway Traffic Act.

Geez, you're an employer and checking all the criminal records of the submissions...

    "murder"
    "grand theft"
    "larceny"
    ...

"operating a motor vehicle with a radar warning device"

    Default busted

Well, try not to get busted in Ontario. I hope you have an STi or a V1. Always be on the lookout for those "radar detector" cops up there. I get a good laugh out of "radar detector" cops/busters. What do you think spanky and smarta$$?

I think it sucks! Our fine is more than ONT also. I think points for a detector is a level of BS beyond illegal detectors... I mean - it's an equipment of the car, how can you possibly be deducted points for that.

3 points, $186 fine, forfeiture of RD and worst of all the smug look on the Leos's face.
