possibly a dumb mounting question

Its a brand new Bel 895, car has less than 30000 miles its a corolla not a caddy (no shock problems) the metal windshield clip is rather "springy in nature" so any slight bump translates to some vibration in the mount without some form of support

That is what I have, an 895, and mine doesn't bounce at all. At first it did, cause I didn't have the mounting tongue all the way in. Push it all the way in with the button depressed. Then release the button and pull back on it until it locks.

ha ha! Never thought about, but yes, they do look like mini clear silacone breast implants. I couldn't find a picture of them. Just go into a RadioShack and ask for the clear rubber feet. They should know what you are talking about.
