    Default Best over all protections!

    Hi there,

Thanks for your replies & opinions.

Being very new to RDs can you suggest one of the best, most versatile tried & tested overall protections for my Corolla 06.

RDs, plus other equipment like laser jammers, license plate covering etc.

I cross speed limits only on highways, but there I am almost doing double lol.

My biggest enemy are radar guns………( I really don’t know which bands do they operate on & have no idea or significance of POP, K, Ka, Ku, laser bands etc etc.)

    Hoping to hear from you,

    Regards!

All your answers are already here. I'd do some research, a lot of research.

If you do highway speeding, I would go with this package, if you have no budget:

    RD:
    - Valentine 1, not from ebay, but from VR

    Laser Jammer:
    - Laser ProPark from the UK
    or
    - Blinder M40 X-Treme (all up front), buy it from Roy www.radarbusters.com

    - VEIL
    - Laser shield

if you are hesitant about the price-
For the price of a v1, you can get an x50, veil and lasershield which will give you a chance against laser as well as great protection against radar.

PM RadarRoy and he'll give you a good deal. he always takes care of his own.

Everyone is going to give you a different answer here. Like said before, you have to do research for yourself and come up with your own answers and conclusions. Not just on this site but other places. I personally like the RX65 but many others think different. That is why we have this forum. People will always disagree and people always think they have the best esp. when a lot of money is invested.

Remember...just because the price is more doesn't mean it is the best for everyone.

all of everything that was listed by other members will do absolutely no good at all if they are using Vascar. (look it up, I'm not explaining it for you) or a pacing scenario. and you will have some judges that allow a visual estimate, or "too fast for conditions" & imprudent speed.

Do not expect to be ticket proof by using a detector, you still need to be aware of your surroundings, all a detector does is highten this awareness by alerting to the signals a radar & laser unit produces.

I am willing to bet that at least 75% of people on this forum own detectors more for the techy side, than to speed. They are neat to determine speed trap situations, and targeting scenarios, More of a "cat & Mouse" game than anything, IMHO.

and the other things you need to worry about are instant-on radar, if you are the only car on the road, and they are shooting instant-on, basically you just spent alot of money on a detector that will only tell you that you just got a ticket! and if you choose V-1 (my choice) it will tell you what direction you can expect the cop that is going to stop you is coming from!

if you are serious about usually doing double of posted, Maybe you need to view the old drivers-ed films again that show people torn in half from wrecks.

Scanners are a good addition if legal for travel in your state, and the good-ole CB for the interstates.

    Hi there,

How do you smart people, rate the following protections?

    1. V1 RD.
    2. M-20 extreme laser jammer.
    3. Scorpion XP Radar jammer. http://blinder.net/scorpion_radar_jammer.htm

Specially keeping in mind, protection against instant on radar guns.

Any suggestions, before I make an order.

    Hoping to hear from you,

    Regards!
