Actually no... it would depend on the size of the vehicles.

If I am on my bike (or even in my car) directly (remember I put that in there) behind a SUV (to the officer shooting radar) it would be impossible for the LEO to get my speed... since the only signal would be the one from the larger vehicle infront of me even if I was going 2mph faster then it (coming up right up directly behind them)... I simply wouldnt have a signature back to the gun, because the SUV is both wider and taller then my bike (or car).

Now if one was lagging back a bit *(not directly behind a vehicle)* and the LEO can see both vehicles, it would be possible that whenever the 2nd vehicles radar signiture back to the gun becomes stronger then the first it would read its speed... or there are also guns that display the strongest signal and fastest speed which would work there.

Im pretty confident that if I tuck directly ford excursion with my bike (not fun), to make it so there is no LOS (again directly), the LEO wouldnt be getting my speed.

Sure. But the Excursion is going 67 anyway and he's going to get you for insane tailgating...

Line-of-sight is also something to think of... if you are really hugging that SUV's ass it's basically a rolling tri-ton shield.
