POP frequency

Just wondering...... What band / frequency does POP run on.

Ka band (33.8 GHz as assigned to MPH Industries) or K (24.150 GHz)

Thanks for the freq. information ........ Would you say that having POP on would increase K and Ka sensitivity to Instant On? I was thining about activating it to get an Instant On Advantage.

Actually, it will do the opposite. Turning on POP makes the detector less likely to alert to short bursts, unless they appear to the detector to be POP. With POP turned on, unless the signal is characteristic of POP, the radar signal must be present longer in order to trigger an alert.

Actual -sensitivity- isn't affected.

Yes, but we're talking milliseonds of difference between whether an alert is reported or not...
