hey
Im in the market for a radar detector. Ive found a rx65 for $229 and a v995 for $199. I dont know if im allowed to post the retailer or not but im sure with a quick search you guys can find it as well. Anyways should i jump on this??

I would say no bc if you need to replace it for some reason like when you get that self clibration needed "common problem with bels" youll wish you had bought it from an authorized retailer. Bel DOES NOT support warranties from unauthorized sellers.

If you are talking about ebay then no. Those are actually crappy units.

If you want to buy new, buy from roy. PM him for a discount- he takes care of his own. PM radarroy

Actually it is an authorized dealer,<REMOVED - jimbonzzz> , kinda strange they marked them off a hundred bucks anyways i went ahead and ordered a rx65

RS is the place right? I think someone else posted about this deal. I would still buy from Roy any day bc his service is exceptional. I just ordered a new m20 to replace my pre steath mode unit. When i ordered it and he had already taken it to UPS. I talked to him and he said that he would be getting the newer blinder units in that were tested at this SML. They supposibly have more power. Anyways he shipped me a new unit instead of one of the older units. Im sure if RS was selling Blinder units they would have sold me their old stock to get it offf their hands. I even heared ppl whos bought their RD's from him and for some reason had to send them in to get fixed, he just sent them a complete new RD so they would be without one. Three words describe Roy "EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE"

Every post has good things on Roy, anyways the rx65 is on its way. Ill soon be ordering a x50 blue for a friend(after much convincing that the blue display will be worth the extra $$ cuz of the blue accent lights in his mitsu endeavor 8) ) so ill give Roy a shot. Thanks everyone.
