    Default SWS In North Carolina

    just wondering if north carolina uses sws. i think it would be cool if it actually works and is used in my area. otherwise, i'm just gonna turn it off

    honestly regardless i would just turn it off cuz it could get annoying

    I say turn it off. The best evidence is that "Some 200 SWS transmitters are in use, spread across 33 states"...

    I've never heard of any...
    I wouldn't know if I ever encountered it because mine is turned off

    wont an SWS alert just show up as a K-Band alert anyways on a non-SWS unit? or is the frequency that far out that it would be disregarded by an in-tune unit?

    Whats the deal with this thought, prof?
