in the guys of lidar test what do the names in() mean??

like it'll say bel RX65(ES13Raven), or bel sti(radarroy) or escort 8500 x50(stealth jamal)
what are these supposed to mean, sorry if its a stupid question.
and why the same models give different performance in the graphs?
the things inside the parentheses are the names of that RD's owner
as for the same models different performance thing, some are of different age, and then theres manufacturing deviation stuff, NO 2 RDs coming off the same line are exactly the same
yeah there's a little bit of variance within the same model. However even the same RD tested over and over against the same speed trap DOES perform slightly different almost every time due to many variables that exist in the real world
The Jan '06 test in particular had a LOT of variation due to the method that we used. The Aug. 2005 test and the Oct. 2006 test are much better for comparison purposes...
