    Default Rabbit Distance?

I tried the search function, but couldn't find anything on this matter (maybe I didn't try hard enough, not sure).

I know you're suppose to keep a rabbit infront and behind you at all times. The question is how far up and behind you do you need them so you can pick up radar bounces and laser scatter?

    * I know there isn't an exact distance, but an approximation would be nice. Also everyone's own preferences.

Keep them far, very far! 200 m +

Radar bounces don't really matter, laser scatter isn't the most important. What you want is a "oh ****" brake lamp warning from the rabbit himself, and also for the police officer to go after him first.

I keep them anywhere from 200 feet to a quarter mile, depending on speed and conditions. QUarter mile usually means they're hauling MAJOR ass and I dont want to be too near them.

I make it so that I loose sight of their tail lights over slight hills, but not for very long. You dont want to rear-end someone by following way to close.

i like to keep my distance from my rabbit (maybe 1/4 mile or less) for the following reasons:
    1) you always run the risk of rear ending a driver if you are too close
    2) you might get targeted by the LEO instead of your rabbit. sure the rabbit is first in line, but whats to stop a LEO from picking you by mere chance if you are both in his line of sight?
    3) you might not have enough time to slow down to the PSL by the time u get targeted next. also if the LEO targets a rabbit and he is speeding and your literally right behind him, it's common sense that your speeding as well, so the LEO could pull you over instead.

I like 200-300 meters. And i try and keep something in between me and where an LEO might be using Radar or Lidar!

In a way yes , it is quite difficult to keep a rabbit behind you

And a rabbit , in some circumstances is not foolproof , sometimes the Leo will choose the follower ....euhhhh .... what is the animal name for the follower :?:
