Hmm. It depends on the area. Do you know it or not? It also depends a lot on traffic. If I've got a rabbit to chase I go as fast as he wants to go. Today on my drive to Lawton I was chasing a BMW that was going about 92 in a 60. After I lost my rabbit I kept to a slower 15-25 over depending on the roads and whether I'm coming up to a hill or a big turn. If I can't see a lot of the road ahead I keep it slow. I'm not good with surprises. LOL!

Yea I use the x50. It hasn't ever failed me, per say. As anyone knows, police don't always have their radar on so I always make sure to keep my eyes peeled on the road ahead looking for officers in traffic or on the side of the road. I'm about to post a new topic in experiences if you want to check it out. It's about the drive from Irving to Lawton.

Depends on area - most of us just go whatever we feel like.

there is no set standard for me - kids all around in the city no more than 20-30. In the middle no where- upwards from 75-80. Enough for me to be safe and those around without being too idiotic. I think this is the standard most live by.

I just run whatever feels reasonable for the road and conditions. It's not uncommon for me to run 40 in a 55 at night if the conditions are poor (rain, deer, etc) or to run 85 in a 65 in nice sunny weather with light traffic.

It really varies from circumstance to circumstance, there are just so many variables.

80 over. 110 in a 30. It wasn't the smartest thing i've done. Most the time i'm 10 over on small roads and 15 over on large roads.
