2 detectors in a car

can i put 2 detectors in a car and have em both turned on all the time when i drive? does that effect any performance of the radars?

I have a Bel 995 in my front window and a bel express 925 in my rear window. They do not interfere with each other at all. However, when I replaced the 925 with a bel 945, the 995 was interfering with the 945. I sold my 945 and decided to keep my old 925 in the rear. Last year, I tested running my bel 995 and my bel 925 on a "k" band speed sign, and the range on my 995 was not affected at all by my rear detector.

I used to do that and it's not recommended unless you have a large enough vehicle where you have some distance between the front and back windows.

I have a 2005 pontiac Vibe, so I do have a fair amount of distance between my front and back windows. I guess that the bel 945 was picking up the 995 because the bel 945 is more sensitive than my 925.

LOL I remember the time (long time ago) I was in the car with someone. I had a Cobra and they had a Whistler. Had the Cobra on most of the time, but they decided to turn on the Whistler. Both units went full alert Ka. At first it was funny....then it got annoying real quick. Ended up disconnecting the Cobra.
