Please don't type in all caps. It's considered shouting on internet terms.

Ku is an old radar band and i've only heard of it being used in mini and mobile gatsometers.

But i'm unsure if the mobile gatso on the trailer uses the standard gatso k band radar.

Here in the uk i did come across 1 mini gatso on a tripod once not long after i had my first car, and we had the snooper and i'm sure that picked it up ok, i really wasn't into detectors at the time.

it was set up on a dual carrageway near me which has a 70mph limit then it was dropped to 50mph then, in 1999 it was dropped to 30mph, and there were quiet a few laser traps on this road mostly on sunday nights using the lti 2020.

And there was a spate of accidents on this road when they dropped it to 30mph, i can't remember any when it was 50mph.

This road is now 40mph they upped the limit and have stuck the gatsos on it, for years people have been caught speeding and have got tickets for doing 40mph, but now its ok to do 40 because the council says so, and or because the camera are there!

It's unlikely that ku will hit the u.s but you never know so its best to keep aware of the latest radar the cops use!

    I have a feeling all you'll see are Cobras mis-identifying K/Ka.
