    Lol well....

So you dont think that im completely and ridiculously spoiled.. Ill tell you that my brother hooked me up with the car. He got some watered down gas and didnt fix it. Gave it to my parents, they fixed it, and I have to pay them the cost to fix it. Was rebuilt from the pistons up or something like that and it'll cost me about 1500.

And yeah, I dumped almost all my money into the sound system 1800. I mean thats almost my full summers work right there.

I only have enough left in the bank for gas money and a cheap radar detector.

I dont mind if you all make fun of me or not. Its the internet

Well, thats true its not a cop detector, but every little bit helps to not get caught. Although I want something to detect radar just so I dont get caught with my system blaring.. I must say, I would love to have something that has a decent range on it so I dont get effed in the long run. I mean there have been times where no one is around and I feel like pushing it a bit. I wont lie about that.. I just never mentioned it because thats a rarity for me.

Im sure you all can relate to me in one way or another about my driving habits. So someone out there should understand me right? Lol

I would suggest for a radar detector either the Whistler pro 58 or 73 of BEL v965 other than that not worth it...

BTW if you want a all weather car cover for a 190e or a 17" Giovanna Barletta wheels let me know

Here is the link to pictures of my late 190e

Man I bet that just ****in wangs. Haha damn. I envy that. Looks great.

Are those 15's? Jeez thats intense for a trunk. Haha wow.

Im also lovin the shoes. Out of curiosity how much are you sellin the rims for? And funny you mention it... It would be very nice to have a car cover where I live. Gets 110 in the summer her. Well on a hot day. Usually in the upper 90s lower 100s. My parents took the garage spaces lol, go figure huh?

But yeah let me know man.

    Edit-
Dang, I just saw it. Your runnin two 12's. Either way, I know it bumps. Because I was running a single 12 JLW1 sealed and it bumped good. Tight punchy response in the sealed. I upgraded to Alpine for my sub and I have an Obcon box from a friend. Rapes my friends two MTX 12 road warriors.

Shoot me a PM and we can talk car audio if you like. I dont wanna jack my own thead though ahaha

Im looking at the X50 right now.

    Kinda spendy at 300.

    http://www.escortradar.com/x50.htm

Considering I dont hardly have 500 in the bank. I still need money for gas. And a bit of spending money. Thats cutting it too close for me. Very nice detector though.

I was thinking like hundred dollar range. Lol or is that too cheap its not even worth it?

IMO anything under 200 is worthless.. 100 bucks will notify you of the cops lighting you up............ X50 is a good unit, ive got one and its served me well with no issues for the 1.5 years ive had it........ it is certainly the cheapest of the top 3 which NOBODY can argue, and it performance is right up there with all the others

and like I said in I think it was my original post, if youre gonna keep the system up, which I imagine you will since you put damn near 2k into it....... I'm the same, I spent my money on my system and I use it to its potential, not too much, but its up there........... ANYWAYS, if it stays up get the external speaker either from Roy at Radarbusters.com or Escort direct at Escortradar.com............ I personally dont have a use for it since im never that loud, but it might be a worthwhile investment... because what good is even the best RD when you cant hear it alerting right...

    sounds like a good choice.

I will have to save that choice for summer when I can start to work again and save up my funds.

Any idea on a quick fix one. Something that'd just show me that they are lightin' me up. Maybe like 50 bucks or something cheap?

I dont know, just kinda tossing ideas out there. I mean if anything under 200 is worthless, then there shouldnt be a difference between something 100 dollars and something 50 bucks right?

Maybe just the cheapest one you could find out there would do me good?

Asianfire's right, if the guy can't afford one of the higher end units, the Whister Pro-58 or Pro-73 should do well for him.

Default Suggestion: Get a used BEL 980 off evilBay...

.... your cost benefit ratio will top out on that one.

That's BS!!! You don't have to have the top 4 to have some protection. I use a $200 Bel 895 and it has done me very well. I have had many saves. A V1 may give me some more range, but the 895 has ALWAYS given plenty of time to slow down 10-15 miles per hour unless it was IO, but even the top ones can't fight IO too much. Esp. if the LEO knows how to use it.
