    Default Learned something new.

Kustom Signals INC. has a radar unit espercially made for on the water.

    It reads in knots/hr. lol

    Falcon Marine®

Built specifically for speed enforcement on waterways, the Falcon Marine targets speeding boaters and jet skiers who put others' lives at risk. A member of the Falcon radar series, the stationary, K-band handheld has a long history of superior performance and accuracy.

Designed for patrol use from a boat, the Falcon Marine features a metal housing and textured grip that is sun-resistant. Its ability to display speeds in knots or miles per hour make it ideal for slow speed areas including no wake zones and harbors.

K well i just had to share it.

Time to get some jammers for my non-existent boat...

Hum....I wonder if the jammer heads are going to need gyro stabilization?

NEVER seen one in live action. About 10-14 years ago I seen one in a Ranger bass boat catalog demonstrating R&D boat testing in a picture. Around here they use the Stalker ATR for water patrol.

Might need a V1 with that sucker. The arrows and rear antennae would be real helpful It sucks it's K band. Hopefully I don't confuse it with all those automatic doors

All I can say is that range would be awesome. No curves or hills here

Next thing you know they'll be using laser on the water too!

The last radar I saw Indiana DNR using on the water was X-band!

My nearbly lake doesn't have a speed limit except for idle zones. The cops just sit there in a boat (or waverunner) and pull over boats that are leaving a wake.
