Bel vs Escort - What are the REAL differences?
I've seen many different perspectives on this. Some say that the Escort is very silly and annoying to use and weaker on K and X or something, others say that the Escort gets better Ka range than anything else.
Can you guys list all the REAL differences between them?

Option of a blue display
Better threat display
Rotary volume control
Lack of display slant makes it more suitable for mounting high
Bel RX65:
Voice Alerts
Ku band
Better suited to right-side drive cars than the X50.

-full solid tones
-better laser detection than RX65
-better filtering than RX65
-can track 4X, 2K, and 2Ka signals
BEL RX65
- Wider antenna good for off-axis radar
-Track up to 1X, 1K, and 1ka
-Louder tones

I think that the unit is to quiet. If you drive with the radio up at all it is difficult to hear the unit. I sent Esocrt an email about it and they said to adjust the Tone Volume which I had already done. That is an improvement they could use!!!
Why does everyone drop 50 bucks for the BLUE display? o.o

...Because it was there! If they had an x50 green for $30.00 more fools like me would probably pay for it. LOL
