Good thing you didn't fall for their Tricks. Trust me, they do not work at all.
I bought one 11 years ago before I knew better. I got a ticket and RMR told me I must not have had it mounted correctly. Not only does their product not work but they won't honor their ticket reimbursement either. They come up with all kinds of reasons not to pay your ticket.

Also, you may find it interesting that on 1/31/2007 the Federal Communications Commission issued a Notice of Forfeiture against Rocky Mountain Radar (RMR) in the amount of $25,000 for repeated and willful violations of the Federal Communications Act of 1934. False advertising !!!

Yeah. It's been playing all over the XM Radio channels as well. Phazer II they called it.

Even said it's been outlawed in 8 states -- as though it works in any state.

Well, I hope these types of threads put a stop to these petty thieves! That Raul was straight up lying to me when we spoke. Man would I love to crack him one! When I drilled for a better understanding of the Phazer II he spoke of "punch through holes". This is where the officer holds the trigger long enough (5+ seconds) to get a reading OR when you breach the "50 yard" threshold. He claimed this is why a detector is needed (so you know when to slow down). And guess what folks, he offers the perfect combo detector/scrambler for $250.00, BUT there is more, you don't have to buy his "top of line" detector/scrambler because the scrambler works with ANY radar. I'll tell you, what a LOAD OF CRAP!!

Oh, and the nice woman who was trying to be so informative then passing me to Raul, poor gal, get of of there!

I've taken mine apart before and it's basically a Horn and some Christmas lights.

I'm surprised I didn't find rocks inside.

Ahh, so that's it! It jams all RADAR LASER guns! Of course the catch is, LEOs don't use RADAR LASER guns. They use radar guns, and/or laser guns, but not RADAR LASER guns. The Phazer doesn't jam RADAR guns; it doesn't jam LASER guns, it only jams RADAR LASER guns, which don't exist!!!
