    I liked the voice on my Bel 550

    would save me looking down to check what i was

    wouldn't say "Ku band"

    My friend used to love whenever my "caveman machine" falsed on K.
    To me it was just annoying as it is time it could instead be giving me a regular beep and an idea of how strong the signal is. Things like that are just gimmicks.

    It is an option on my 940 (older version-all black). Hated the voice at 1st, but procrastinated making the change to "No Voice" and now I like it. It actually does help. When music is on or windows down going within the posted speed limit ;-) the beeps can sound similar. The voice alert clears up any wrongs that my ears have done me with the beeps.
