Also, just to make things easy for you, I'll give you a free hint: Don't consider the 9500i until the bugs get worked out of it. For now, the top-end choices should be V1, STi, RX-65, and 8500 X50.

Tony, where do you live and what sort of driving do you do? That is, highway, city, rural? Describe the sort of places you drive through. Different detectors have different features and different abilities. You need a detector that fits your personality and your driving.

For high end units, here are my recommendations V1,STi, and X50.
For great mid range units w/ a decent price, my recommendation are Bel 955, or either the Whister Pro-78/XTR 690.
Take your pick.
